This is GPEWorld—an interactive web application that allows you to explore the people, languages, arts, sports, holidays, and religions of more than 30 GPE partner countries using a simple map interface.
Please take a moment to go through this on-screen tour before using the GPEWorld application. Completing the tour will ensure that you have all of the information you need to use GPEWorld successfully.
To start the tour, click Next. If you do not wish to view the tour, or if you've already completed it on a previous visit, you may skip it by clicking Skip
Click on a partner country to view the StoryMap for that country. Partner countries appear on the map as yellow while non-partner countries are gray. Once a country is selected it will appear animated on the map.
The legend will always appear at the bottom right corner of the screen.
You may also interact with the map using your mouse or finger (touchscreen only) to pan and zoom just like Google Maps®.
The breadcrumb list, shown in the lower left corner of the screen, allows you to navigate between a selected country, the country's region, and the entire world with only a single click.
Whenever your selection changes, the breadcrumb list will be updated to reflect the change.
The partner list appears along the right edge of the screen and shows a complete list of all GPE partner countries organized by region. Clicking on a country will select that country on the map.
Once a country is selected, you may view its StoryMap by clicking on the thumbnail in the list.
